Step 1: Create a Make A Future Profile
Start by creating an online profile on Make A Future, our preferred application platform. This is required for teacher, education assistant, and office support staff positions.

Criminal Record Check (if outside BC)

Proof of Eligibility to Work in Canada
Catholic Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
University Transcripts
Teacher Practicum Evaluation (for recent graduates)
Two Recent Professional Reference Letters
Application for Catholics or Applicant Declaration for Non-Catholics
Statement of Health and Character
Verification of Teaching Experience (not applicable for TOC and EA positions)
Catholic Pastoral Reference

What Happens Next?

Applications are processed in the order they are received. The Superintendent's Office will review your application.

If your application meets the initial requirements, you'll be scheduled for an interview with the Associate Superintendent of Human Resources.

After approval from the Superintendent's Office, principals of individual schools will conduct interviews with suitable candidates. Short-listed applicants may be called for a second interview with the school's Education Committee

If selected, you'll receive a job offer from the school's hiring committee. Contract signing and other documentation will be completed at the school level
